Feta cheese is a type of cheese made from sheep's or goat's milk, sometimes even from a combination of these two types of milk. This type of cheese is noted not only for its special taste, but also for the beneficial effects it has on health. Obviously, we are referring strictly to the recipes that follow the traditional recipe, are natural and not to some commercial variants, which contain on the label, vegetable oils and other ingredients that are not found in the traditional recipe. Feta cheese has a slightly astringent taste, is devoid of holes and does not have a thicker coating. Traditional feta cheese is made from sheep's milk and, if it is combined with goat's milk, goat's milk is not allowed to be present in an amount greater than 30%.
