About SONIMPEX TOPOLOVENI SRL

Our company - Sonimpex Topoloveni - has been set up and evolved as a family business, run by Stanciulov family - mother and daughter - since 1993.

In 2001 we acquired a cannery and, with passion, work and a rather large investments, we have managed to evolve it into a representative of Romanian food industry tradition and high quality.

Our strength is in the brands we've created - Topoloveni Plum Magiun (plum spread) and the whole range of fruit and vegetables Topoloveni products, all sugar free, no preservatives, no chemicals, no GMOs.

Topoloveni plum spread is obtained through an authentic, unique and traditional recipe, of which the first industrial use dates back in the year 1914.

Topoloveni Plum spread is certified, as of 2011 - amongst other 1500 products in the European Union - as Protected Geographical Indication and was awarded two Michelin Golden stars (of a maximum possible of three stars) for two consecutive years, by the International Taste and Quality Institute. The product has also been ranked as Best Fruit Product Types in the World in Taste Atlas : https://www.tasteatlas.com/jams

Topoloveni Plum spread produced by us Sonimpex Topoloveni can be consumed from the age of six months, by people with diabetes (according to a clinical trial that we conducted at N.C Paulescu National Institute for Nutrition, Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases (N.C. Paulescu is the scientist responsible for the discovery of insulin and the institute is famous for the studies they carry in the field of nutrition).

Whole fruit and vegetables Topoloveni confitures are obtained by a process registered by our company as international patent. The patent consists in the elimination of the sugar syrup and replacement thereof, by natural apple juice.

Topoloveni confitures have also been awarded Michelin stars, as well as silver and bronze medals at Monde Selection (International Institute that awards products for Quality of the ingredients and taste of the product). Our company has also been constantly appointed as Supplier for the Royal House of Romania.
