The Sordony brand traces its origins to the Sordonie family of Greek descent, who founded the original distillery in 1870. In time, the distillery was acquired from the former Vinalcool Drăgășani – Vâlcea by Cătălin Șoarece and his family, who undertook a significant modernization process. A major milestone came in 2007, with the acquisition of a Calvados-type distillation system from Germany, elevating production quality and consistency.
Sordony was born out of a genuine passion for preserving natural fruit spirits made exclusively from 100% fruit. Every product reflects a commitment to authenticity, craftsmanship, and respect for raw ingredients.
